The photographs in this edition of the Annual Report are taken from the Bethlehem, Marseille, Chania, Nicosia (north) and Nicosia (south) sites of the MED-VOICES project web site (www.MED-VOICES.org) to be publicly launched in the autumn of 2005. The RAI is associated with MED-VOICES, which is part-funded by the EC as a component of its EUROMED HERITAGE Programme. The project consists of a three-year collaborative research programme investigating oral history and intangible heritage in 13 Mediterranean cities. Partners include university research units in Alexandria, Bethlehem, Beirut, Nicosia (south), Nicosia (north), Istanbul, Chania (Crete), Ancona, Valletta, Marseille, Granada, Ciutat de Mallorca, and Las Palmas. It is co-ordinated from London Metropolitan University by Julie Scott, Raoul Bianchi, and Tom Selwyn. Further information from
