Volunteers and Interns

If you are interested in getting involved with the Royal Anthropological Institute's activities we would be interested in hearing from you.

The RAI takes on volunteers and interns from time to time when there is a project that is suitable. Volunteers are often needed to help with the RAI's events. Interns work at the RAI's offices for periods of a couple of weeks to several months. In the past internship projects have included developing the image database, research for educational materials and working with the film collection.

For complete details please see our Volunteer and Intern Policy.

If you are interested in being a volunteer or intern please email your C.V. and a cover letter with details of the time frame that you would be available, including the number of days per week, and any preferences for the area you would like to work in to the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Your details will then be circulated to the departments to see if there is a suitable project.

You can also find details about being a volunteer for our publication Anthropology Today here.
