The RAI runs a wide range of activity programmes and services, all of which are open to one-off or regular sponsorship. They include:
• The RAI Collection (ethnographic film, photographs and manuscripts)
• The RAI’s educational outreach programme
• The Anthropology Library
We also welcome sponsorship for the RAI’s special events, both those held regularly and those organised singly from time to time. Many of these, such as the biennial International Festival of Ethnographic Film, attract international sponsorship.
In addition, the RAI offers modest financial support for events and activities in anthropology run by outside groups, with priority given to student-led activities. We welcome sponsorship directed to enhancing our capacity to provide this support.
Sponsorship brings valuable publicity to the sponsoring organisation among target audiences. All sponsorship is fully credited, and for regular sponsorship the sponsor’s name can be attached to the activity in question. An example is the Wiley-Blackwell Student Film Prize, sponsored by the RAI’s publisher and awarded during the biennial International Festival of Ethnographic Film.
Prospective sponsors are welcome to discuss their ideas with the
