Note attached: ‘These genealogies were found in longhand script in the files of the Department of Education in Pago Pago, American Samoa, during 1955. It is believed that they may have formed part of a manuscript draft by William Churchill. This typescript copy is one of four prepared in 1956 by the Samoan Affairs Office in Pago Pago, other copies are held by Mr R.P. Gilson of the Australian National University, Dr R. Littrell of Long Beach State Teachers College, California, and by Dr J.C. Cool of Pago Pago, American Samoa’
