Volunteer online: Anthropology, AI and the Future of Human Society Virtual Conference 6-10 June 2022.
Are you a current undergraduate or postgraduate student or recent graduate? Would you like experience in the organisation of a major international conference while having the opportunity to attend panels and engage with anthropologists?
The Royal Anthropological Institute is recruiting a team of volunteers to help at the online Anthropology, AI and the Future of Human Society Virtual Conference (6-10 June 2022).
This is a great opportunity for students to be involved with a major international conference. Volunteers will learn online conference skills and receive free conference registration so they can attend panels and engage with anthropologists.
Requirements to volunteer
- You are a current student or recent graduate,
- You are over 18
- You have access to a good internet connection
- You are able to use Whatsapp (it is used for communication during the conference).
- You are available to do one 2 1/4-hour panel between 11.00-4.15pm every day for the conference period (6-10 June 2022).
- You are available for training sessions on:
- 24 May 5.00pm-6.30pm - Training Session about Using Zoom for a Conference
- 1 June 5.00pm-6.00pm - Pre-Conference Volunteer Briefing (This will be a final opportunity to meet the team and ask any questions before the conference starts)
- Attendance to both training sessions is mandatory for all volunteers.
