Volunteer online: Anthropology and Conservation Virtual Conference 25-29th October 2021

Are you a current undergraduate or postgraduate student or recent graduate? Would you like experience in the organisation of a major international conference while having the opportunity to attend panels and engage with anthropologists?

The Royal Anthropological Institute is recruiting a team of volunteers to help at the online Anthropology and Conservation Virtual Conference (25-29 October 2021). The conference was originally proposed by the University of East Anglia’s School of International Development, and we are pleased to welcome as co-organisers alongside UEA: Forest Peoples Programme, the Linnean Society, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, the University of Kent’s School of Anthropology and Conservation, the Anthropology and Environment Society (a section of the AAA), Botanic Garden Conservation International, the Society of Ethnobiology and Cambridge Conservation Initiative.

This is a great opportunity for students to be involved with a major international conference. Volunteers will learn online conference skills and receive free conference registration so they can attend panels and engage with anthropologists.
