Volunteer at the Anthropology, Weather and Climate Change 2016 Conference

The Royal Anthropological Institute is recruiting a team of 40 volunteers to help at the Anthropology, Weather and Climate Change conference (27th, 28th & 29th May 2016) at the British Museum.

This is a great opportunity for students to be involved with a major international conference, make new networks and attend some conference panels. Volunteering is only open to students of anthropology or environmental science and recent graduates.

Volunteers will work in a rota system with a few shifts per day and be responsible for various tasks including registration, setting up rooms and stalls, guiding delegates between venues, monitoring exhibitions, answering questions and dealing with additional tasks as they arise.

We are looking for enthusiastic people age 18 and above, who enjoy working with others and are willing to dedicate their time for the duration of the conference (Fri 27th, Sat 28th & Sun 29th May 2016) to make sure the event runs smoothly.

In return for your assistance, we offer all volunteers free registration (worth £180), conference materials and refreshments as well as an RAI t-shirt.

If you would like to volunteer, please apply at your earliest convenience as the majority of volunteer places have already been filled.

Please send your CV and a short paragraph explaining your motivation for volunteering to Emma Ford: education@therai.org.uk
