  • Teaching Anthropology
Teaching Anthropology (TA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the teaching of anthropology. A journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, TA promotes dialogue and reflection about anthropological pedagogies in schools, colleges and universities. Teaching sharpens our research questions and pushes forward disciplinary knowledge. It also opens possibilities for personal and professional transformation. Bringing together anthropological and educational ideas, the journal fosters a critical engagement with teaching practices and their role in developing our anthropological capacities. We also aim to stimulate scholarly discussions about the relationship between pedagogy and its social, institutional and political contexts.
  • Climate Change Hub

Anthropology is the bio-cultural study of humankind across all space and time. Anthropology is important to debates on Climate Change because it covers the human aspect (the root of the problem, after all) and can bridge between the social and natural sciences. In 2016 the Royal Anthropological Institute held a major conference at the British Museum on Anthropology, the Weather and Climate Change.  The RAI ‘s Climate Change hub is a resource for anthropologists looking to maximise the impact of their work.

  • Illustrating Anthropology

Illustrating Anthropology explores human lives around the world through comics, drawings, and paintings of anthropological research. From those who use illustration as a fieldwork method, to others who partner with artists and research participants to tell stories, this exhibition draws together a wide range of ways that contemporary anthropologists are illustrating anthropology.
