Ketaki Sheth: on photographing Bombay street life, Patel twins and the Sidi, Indians of African descent.

Ketaki Sheth is one of India's leading photographers, wining the Sanskriti Award for Indian photography in 1992. Her work has been exhibited around the world, including the Tate Modern.  Ketaki's work focuses on affective detail, visual rhythms and senses of identity. Her latest work, "A Certain Grace: The Sidi: Indians of African Descent" involved spending 5 years visiting Sidi settlements and documenting their everyday lives.
