An obituary of Mikel Utsi, who died in Cambridge on 30 June 1979 at the age of 71, will be found in Polar Record, 19.123, September 1979, pp 630-1. He reintroduced reindeer into the British Isles, and was a great friend to anthropologists who worked among the Lapps.
